Since its establishment in 2002, Iceland Travel Assistance (ITA) has been offering visitors to Iceland a gateway to an unforgettable experience. ITA works in partnership with several hundred selected tour operators to ensure that every visitor enjoys an exciting and a memorable travel experience. With easily accessible and professionally staffed information and booking service centres, ITA strives to offer everything to meet the customer’s travel needs.

Free Booking Service

Travellers arriving in Reykjavík will find a range of information and access to free booking services at ITA's travel information centres. ITA's main service centre is in the heart of Reykjavík and serveral other selected locations.

Cruise Liners

operates a state-of-the-art booking
and information centre providing
services for cruise line passengers.

Designer Boutiques

ITA's Designer Boutiques display some of the best of what Icelandic design has to offer. The boutiques are conveniently located in three hotels, offering added comfort and accessibility for visitors.

Money Exchange / VAT refund

Two of ITA's information centres provide 
VAT refund (Tax Free) and Money Exchange
for all major currencies
